It's been a while since I've shared a project from start to finish. I took this semester off from school (taking summer semester instead) to take a few online classes, write some articles, and work on personal projects. So I kind of just put my head down and got to work. I wasn't filming a bunch, but I was getting a ton done!!!!

Well, your girl is going to try a bunch of new things with this fabric that I've never done before. Care to guess what I might be up to? Follow along.... I'll get back to filming and sharing. Promise 🫣🤣

I heard this audio the other day and loved it. My homeschool life hasn't precisely been Montessori, but there are oodles of similarities. Kids are naturally curious and the US system of education does a great job of killing that curiousity by making learning a one-size-fits-all mundane chore 😔

I've been able to direct much of my own education with steering, guidance, and support from my adults. I literally don't have enough hours in the day to explore all of the things I want to and consume the amount of information I crave. We are more capable than adults give us credit for ♥️

P.S. Teachers are amazing!!!!! But unfortunately they're not in charge of our education system. Which also makes no sense 😭

Yesterday I filled my first farmers fabric fabric of the season. I weave every Saturday at the @summerville_farmers_market and just finished this yardage the other day.

My grandparent's live with us and my grandma's kitchen sink is always so clean you could lick it! 🤣🤣 So I wet finish my handwoven fabric in their kitchen 🙌🧶🤣 She was getting ready to make some potatoes, but I scootched in and got this done before she started cooking!

@bob_youre_a_genius and I had a super productive day at the @summerville_farmers_market yesterday. I'm just about done with this warp, so I'll have a new project starting next weekend. And Aidan turned a bunch of bottle openers and coffee scoopers ♥️

P.S. Forgive my kind of cranky face. I'm allergic to just about everything you can think of - food, nature, you name it! Something was blooming at the market yesterday and my eyes were swollen almost completely shut by the time I got home. It wasn't my best day 🥴 There aren't enough allergy meds and jars of local honey to save me 🤦‍♀️

Yesterday's market was fun, but LONG!!!! Today is a pool, trampoline, and lounging afternoon at our house 😎 Liam is in the pool and Waffles is not a fan, so I'm sneaking in a snuggle session. She went to swim lessons and now CAN swim, but very much chooses not to 🐾🤣

This year I have some company over in my little corner at the @summerville_farmers_market ♥️ @bob_youre_a_genius and I are market buddies and @thefloppyear is a substitute vendor. We had a great time today all working together. Plus, aliam gives out samples of his gourmet dog treats, so I got to pet SO many dogs today. What could be better???

Also, low-key obsessed with the Beyonce rendition of Blackbird. The meaning behind the song is so inspiring and she did an incredible job with it 🤗

First farmers market warp of the season!!!!! Opening day for the @summerville_farmers_market is just 6 days away!!! Today I cleaned out my trailer and counted my inventory. Plus I started threading the Wolf Pup! I haven't woven on this loom in 4 months, so it's good to be back at it.

I upgraded the wheels on this loom to make it easier to load and unload from the back of my trailer. And I treated myself to some helping hands from @loftyfiber to make winding on easier!
