In episode 352 – “Paving a Path to Success w/ Astrid of EweniqueAstrid” I share about my journey in branching out onto Etsy from Facebook Marketplace and finding success in building my business. I talk about how I drive traffic from Instagram to Etsy, using pre-orders to enhance the sales experience, and so much more!
What is every fiber artist’s dream come true? When Kate – THE Ashford Kate whose every word we hang on during YouTube videos – lets you run amok with some Ashford cotton and then write it up to share with other fiber lovers! I had an absolute blast creating this garment and can’t wait to share the highlights with you!
One of my favorite things to do is stretch my imagination when it comes to uses for handwoven fabric. During the program night for our local guild, the guest presenter mentioned a collaboration with “I Can Make Shoes.” I immediately devoured the content on their YouTube channel and decided it would be a fun experiment with handwoven.
I would love to work with you. Please contact me about speaking and writing opportunities and let’s see what we can weave together.
This is not a skill I have but I'm constantly amazed by the quality and ingenuity of this young fiber queen! Support an entrepreneur and a young person at the same time!
I love purchasing Astrid's bags. Her weaving is beautiful and she takes the extra effort to match patterns at the seams where possible. Every pre-order I have purchased has arrived well before the specified date. It's fun to watch Astrid on Instagram weaving a fabric that then turns into a bag I own. And I love supporting a young artist in her creative journey!
Yet another item that is just amazing from this seller! 😊The woven fabric is luxurious & the fabrics that were combined with them are just perfect! I bought one for my crochet hooks & fiber craft items...The other one is for my pocketbook & all the essentials. The workmanship is stunning & quality! Tha ks for the keychain as well! 🙃
